🚨 New Milestone for #Cybersecurity in the EU! 🚨 The Council of the European Union has officially adopted the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), introducing new security requirements for digital products. This marks another important step towards the EU’s full adoption of the CRA, which will enforce stronger security measures throughout the product lifecycle, protecting both businesses and consumers. 🌍🔐 #NextSteps: "The legislative act will be signed by the presidents of the Council and of the European Parliament and published in the EU’s official journal in the coming weeks. The new regulation will enter into force twenty days after this publication and will apply 36 months after its entry into force with some provisions to apply at an earlier stage." We are excited to announce that today marked the first day of the CRACoWi project kick-off conference in Athens! 🎉 All project partners gathered to present the work packages, key objectives, tasks, and deliverables that will drive this innovative initiative forward. A special thanks to our Project Officer, who provided valuable insights from the EU perspective and shared best practices for successfully implementing a #Digital Europe Program (DEP) project. 💡 What will CRACoWi do? #CRACoWi will develop tools to help SMEs, manufacturers, and distributors comply with the EU's Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Through automation, the project will simplify compliance assessments, generate required documentation, and support cybersecurity certification, ensuring that digital products meet the latest EU cybersecurity standards throughout their lifecycle. 🚀 CRACoWi Project Officially Kicks Off! We are excited to announce that the CRACoWi project officially started on September 1st, 2024, and our first consortium introduction took place online on September 4th. Hosted by ITML, the project's coordinator, this virtual meeting brought together 14 partners from across Europe, each contributing valuable expertise to help shape the future of cybersecurity.   🪄CRACoWi – Cyber Resilience Act Compliance Wizard #CRACoWi is an innovative project addressing the growing #cybersecurity challenges in the European digital market. Developed in response to the European Commission’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), CRACoWi aims to simplify compliance with the CRA by providing automated tools for cybersecurity certification, documentation, and assessments, helping companies meet new cybersecurity standards throughout the product lifecycle.   🎉 The next step? We’re heading to Athens for the official Kick-off Meeting and a press conference to dive deeper into the project’s vision and goals.
