About us
The Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce represents the towns of Middleboro, Lakeville, Raynham, Bridgewater, Plympton, Halifax, Carver, Wareham, and Rochester. The Cranberry Country Chamber mission is built on three pillars: Power of Place The Chamber is positioned to provide regional leadership that harnesses the resources and vitality of our local communities. Our name, “Cranberry Country” speaks to our regional uniqueness. In a new “global” economy, our competitive advantage lies increasingly in recognizing these local strengths, which include talents, resources, and relationships. Power of Community The Chamber provides an opportunity for members to engage and build a positive network of business connections that allows businesses to participate in something greater than themselves. Participation in community heightens creativity, problem solving, networking, business development and opportunity. Within the greater community, the Chamber has the opportunity to “give back” in ways that support community efforts and that in turn builds good will toward local businesses, increasing over-all quality of life in communities. Power of Voice As a Chamber we can unite our voices in order to educate our communities about the positive contribution of businesses; to advocate for laws that promote small businesses and economic development; and to advocate for local planning efforts that will grow and support a thriving business community.

Congratulations to our award winners celebrated during our 46th Annual Meeting at the Rosebrook Event Center this month. It was a wonderful event where we also highlighted and welcomed our non-profit members with our theme “Life is Good When Business Supports Community.” All the over 190 attendees enjoyed an amazing presentation (along with the biggest rock/paper/scissor activity!) by Steve Gross of Life is Good Playmaker Project. Our word for today is COMMUNITY. When our businesses support local non-profits it becomes a full circle benefit to all. Helping food banks, shelters, Habitats for Humanity, organizations who collect clothing, etc., provides those less fortunate to build better lives. This in turn provides strength to the local community so that more are able to utilize the goods and services of our local businesses. Thank you to My Brother's Keeper for a wonderful evening of networking! Our members were able to learn all about the amazing work that the staff and volunteers do for those in need. We visited their North Dartmouth facility and saw the racks and racks of goods that are distributed, no questions asked, to those who need...from food to home supplies to their awesome Christmas gift program. Paul Key shared information, updates, and stories; and our members were able to tour the facility while networking and enjoying refreshments. While we were networking, Bluestone Bank presented My Brother's Keeper with a generous donation to help repair several of their vehicles so that they can continue to make deliveries safely. We love when fellow Chamber members collaborate and support each other!!
