Learn more about Board member Chad Porteck, owner of Circle P Excavation. Chad has always been around some form of the trades his whole life. He started in the heavy earthmoving world as a laborer and worked his way up to a finish blade hand. Then he became a foreman and supervisor. After the economy crash of 2009 he moved to Nebraska and farmed for ten years before starting his own excavation company in 2020. He has worked in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nebraska, and Kansas moving dirt or installing underground utilities. Amanda’s role within the small family business includes a variety of tasks such as daily operations, project design, bidding, employee development and education, and marketing. She is eager to teach the next generation about rewarding careers in the trades. She has organized three local trade-focused events- Touch a Truck Wisconsin, Kurk Kids, and Build X Next Generation. Learn more about Crew's Treasurer, Alicia Brentzel. She is the President of Brex Enterprises, ran alongside her husband A.J. They focus primarily on being an oil and gas contractor, but also incorporate other construction services. Alicia joined Brex full time in 2017, where she left a full time job with Philips Respironics in the medical device industry. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2011 in Mechanical Engineering Technology, and in 2015 from Katz School of Business with her MBA.
