Our dedicated CRF teams are with each client every step of the way, offering personalized support, advocacy, and guidance. From helping with transitions to providing essential resources, we work hand-in-hand with clients to navigate the challenges they face. The ultimate goal is always permanent housing and for Mr. J, this became a reality. The commitment from both our Union Hall DIC and Safe Haven teams ensures that no one has to walk this journey alone. Time for another Testimony Tuesday! Stephanie arrived at CRF House East in 2021, pregnant with her first child and determined to build a brighter future. With resilience and the support of her social services team, she secured young adult supportive housing in 2022. Today, she’s thriving—and we’re beyond proud to share that she has been accepted into the NYU nursing program! 🩺🎓 Stephanie and her now 3-year-old daughter continue to flourish, proving that with determination and the right support, anything is possible.💙 ➡️Swipe right to read the full story.

Thankful Thursday at CRF💙 Children’s Rescue Fund has the privilege of partnering with New York City Children’s Theater. 🎭 In each workshop session, professional NYCCT Teaching Artists lead young people on a literary and thematic exploration of a selected children’s book using theater, songwriting, and playwriting exercises. NYCCT provides the opportunity for children to work through their emotions and feelings through artistic expression. This is one of the trauma-informed programs that CRF is proud to offer to our clients. This would not be possible without partners like NYC Children’s Theater! We are so THANKFUL for all that you are doing for our CRF kids and their families.

✍️Testimony Tuesday💙 From surviving on the streets to stepping into a home of their own - this is what transformation looks like. With support, guidance, and perseverance, one of our clients from a CRF singles shelter is now moving into permanent housing, reclaiming stability and hope for the future. Every success story is a testament to the power of community and second chances. We are proud to be a part of their story.

The Fresh Air Fund recently hosted a kick-off event to connect with many of our community partners and prepare for an exciting summer. It was an opportunity to provide updates about The Fresh Air Fund’s summer camps and for our partners to share more about what motivates them and inspires their commitment to helping more NYC children have the summer of a lifetime at Fresh Air Fund sleepaway camps.    A big Fresh Air thank you to our incredible partners.
