    ALERT In the last 20 hours, Sansec has detected over 2000 hacked Adobe Commerce / Magento stores and the number is still growing. We attribute this to Group Peschanki, which runs a highly aggressive and automated campaign. Peschanki shows no sign of slowing down yet 😬 The likely attack vector is CosmicSting, a bug in Magento that lets bad actors modify your CMS blocks and inject payment skimmers into your checkout flow. Upgrading is not enough, you need to manually disable your previous crypt keys. What to do 1. Run a server-side malware scanner such as eComscan 2. Upgrade to Magento 2.4.7-p3 3. Rotate your crypt key 4. Manually disable the old crypt key Instructions and IOCs below. This is the largest automated Magento hack we have seen since the Shoplift attack in 2015 😳

    🤨 Why does a 100 year old rock crushing business go digital? I hear a lot from SaaS tech platform executives about why B2B companies can and should enter e-commerce and/or replatform off of antiquated tech. I hear far less often from the decision-makers who are the ones who have to champion these digital transformations within their organizations and own the potential risks of these (oftentimes massive and complex) undertakings. So when Eagle Crusher Co. Inc.’s VP of Marketing, Daniel F., took the stage at Shopware’s #Shoptoberfest last week to tell us why he helped Eagle Crusher (an American heavy iron manufacturing industry brand founded in 1915) launch e-commerce on Shopware, I listened👂 ✔️“Technology is coming for everything… As a smaller manufacturer bidding against big multinational companies like John Deere.. we have to adapt to this future otherwise we’ll be swallowed up.” 🤖 Autonomous equipment, telematics - technological innovation in industry is inevitable. These innovations will require unprecedented data collection and reporting on the part of businesses in order to comply with regulatory standards + government contracts. Meanwhile, B2B customers, particularly the ones Eagle Crusher serves in construction, are technophobic (some of them don’t even use email 🥺). 🌟Although introducing e-commerce would involve a customer learning curve, Eagle Crusher wisely chose to take this on as a future-proofing, survival imperative for their business. ✔️ “One of the biggest paint points that we felt was our Parts Sales Department dealing with our dealers constantly calling with product specs inquiries, pulling them away from customers and preventing them from being proactive… We’re finally entering the ecommerce world to allow our dealers to find that info on their own.” There are substantial awards to be gleaned from digitally transforming your brand - what could your sales team achieve if they weren’t bogged down in your broken systems? 🌈✨🏆 Kudos to Daniel for successfully delivering his talk against the backdrop of tubas! 🇩🇪🍻😆 #Shopware #EagleCrusher #eCommerce #B2B #DigitalMarketing #Partnerships

    There was so much great content at Shopware’s #Shoptoberfest last week 💡One TED-style talk from Whisker’s Vice President of IT, Shane Kaszyca, feels particularly relevant as we approach BFCM. Bonus points to Shane for the flawless poker analogies and helicopter segue 🚁 😏 How do we put customers on a journey that will bring them from an ad to clicking that final purchase button? 🤨 🏁Site Speed - Seconds cost conversion. If I have to wait more than 3 seconds for something to load, I’m scrolling. That’s why Core Web Vitals are so important and why Google indexes based off of it. 🌹Personalization - Your customers have told you what they want, you need to make it easier to get back to those products using personalization. We know your dog’s name, we know that your box is on the way. Communicating with your customer on a level that tells them you know who they are and what they want is important. ✍️ Continuity in Message - Facebook is super powerful in the way that we can target demographics and interests. If you’ve got a really high-converting click-through rate on your ad - wherever you are sending that customer, you better continue that message. Remind the customer why they clicked that ad in the first place. 💸 Remove Barriers to Purchase - Free Shipping! Free Return Shipping! 50,000 5-star reviews! (Table stakes stuff at this point) 👩🔬Test, Test, Test - Evolve your ecommerce and what you’re doing the way you evolve your product. What subject lines in your emails are getting the best open rates? What content in your email is getting the best click-through rates?
