    What started as one store is now eight brands thriving across multiple countries, with over 750 stores. Sizzling Platter, LLC Platter began operating in 1963 as a mom-and-pop with a single Sizzler location in Sugar House, Utah, and a dream to be more. Over sixty years later, the company continues to grow daily, with more than 13,000 team members and renowned brands, including Little Caesars, Wingstop, Jamba, Dunkin', Jersey Mike's, Sizzler, Red Robin, and Cinnabon. Consistency is key when managing eight different brands simultaneously. That’s why Matthew Smith, Sizzling Platter’s Learning and Development Specialist, is an essential part of the team. While there is plenty of overlap in operations across the brands, each one has slight differences that provide unique challenges, meaning that a “one size fits all” mindset simply doesn’t work. This is why Matthew must understand each brand on a deeper level and evaluate what the most important drivers of operational excellence will be for each individual brand instead of just trying to force the same exact programs onto all the different brands.     When your brand's first store opened, you turned it into a well-oiled machine—employees did great work and completed it on time, and consistently. However, with each new location, it becomes more difficult to ensure that brand standards and food safety procedures are followed, ultimately making it harder to ensure great guest experiences on every visit. Check out our latest blog to learn more about this feature: https://lnkd.in/e_U6dMk5 Shift Attestation is a versatile tool when integrated into daily practices, and can provide restaurants with a range of benefits, from legal compliance to improved team morale. With Shift Attestation, admins can create customized questions and answers, and prescribe positive, negative or neutral values to the answers. Employees can easily answer these questions at the end of their shift or when they clock out. Management can easily review their answers to get a better pulse on their employees and the operation as a whole. As a restaurant operation grows, implementing a mechanism for feedback is crucial to ensure the evolving needs of the customer and staff are effectively addressed.

    Last week, we hosted our in-person employee event, Crunchtime Connect, which brought together Crunchtime employees from across the globe—US, Mexico, UK, and Australia—for an unforgettable three-day experience. Here’s a small glimpse into a few fun moments: 🍀 To kick things off, our CEO, John Raguin, even gave us a quick lesson in Boston-lingo 101. 🧳 We started day two with a powerful morning panel where Crunchtime’s leadership shared their most coveted carry-on items, and employees shared inspirational insights and heartfelt stories. 🎨 To wrap things up, our sales and marketing teams got to flex their creative muscles in a session where they had to draw Crunchtime customer logos from memory. (And, don't worry, we're not planning on pitching new branding to any of our customers any time soon!)
