Back in 2022, the Connecticut Foodshare Board and I were looking to collect more/better data that we could then use to tell the story of how we impact families in need all across our state... so we took a leap of faith and created a Data & Impact team. Two years later - under the leadership of our Chief Data & Impact Officer Tyler Kleykamp - our Data & Impact Team was just named one of the Top 50 in the entire country, across all industries! I could not be more proud of them and the work they do each and every day! Congratulations to Tyler, paula meiling siebers, William Bruce, Amy Lloyd, Margaret Kane, Jennifer Johnson, Kerry Doyle, and Deborah Ramada! GO TEAM!

For all the doubters out there (including myself): Molly Devanney and I absolutely rocked it behind the bar at Cafe Aura tonight! Record-setting crowd, record-setting “tips” for Connecticut Foodshare… and I now have a newfound appreciation for bartenders everywhere! A huge THANK YOU to Coach Auriemma and his Cafe Aura team for hosting us!

Wheeler’s Mobile Food Pantry, in partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, happens this Friday from 10:45 am to 11:30 am at our 40 Hart Street, #NewBritainCT community health center.  #teamwork

Working with a strong network of community-based hunger relief programs, we help provide nutritious food as well as long-term, sustainable solutions to food insecurity. By joining Connecticut Foodshare, you will be part of a team that helps drive community awareness, garners support, leverages research, and engages volunteers, to realize our vision of a thriving community free of hunger. Position Summary: "We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects specifically related to the direct mail and email marketing campaigns for the organization. This person will work on cross-departmental projects involving Data, Marketing and Communications, and Development. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless collaboration between these departments, driving projects from concept to completion on time and within scope. You will work closely with department leads to set priorities, manage resources, and measure project success.  Reports to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. The public selected teams they felt demonstrated a balance of success and positive impact on their organization, made strong contributions through thought leadership, is innovative in their projects, and the team leader is an exceptional leader.
