This week, Curai went to the halls of Congress to show senators how AI can increase access to virtual care. We were joined by organizations like AWS, Google, Transcarent, and The National Institutes of Health to participate in AdvaMed’s AI Caucus Demo Day, which was co-hosted by co-chairs of the Senate AI Caucus Senators Martin Heinrich (D-NM) and Mike Rounds (R-SD). Our Clinical Product Physician, Kimberly Truong Linamen, MD, MPH, and AI Product Lead, Jack Craddock, met with Congressional staff and experts in digital health to demonstrate how AI-powered virtual-first care looks in practice. #AdvaMed

Curai Health reposted this
I recently had the opportunity to participate in the American Medical Association’s Digital Payment Advisory Group as part of a panel of V1C Coalition by DiMe members. I was joined by Lucia Savage at Omada Health and Joe Connolly at Visana Health to discuss reimbursement for virtual care, and how the current system of CPT codes could be updated to accommodate innovations in asynchronous care. The health care industry is on the precipice of change as virtual-first options become more widely available, and I’m glad to have the opportunity to take part in important conversations about how our industry will adapt to new technologies like #generativeAI.

“We see one of the central problems in U.S. healthcare being about supply of expertise. The answer we have broadly is to create leverage for clinicians, and we can do that with better software and better AI in the flow of care delivery.” - Neal Khosla Our CEO sat down with Zeev Neuwirth, MD Neuwirth on Creating a New Healthcare to discuss how we’re using AI to provide care, including assisting patients with medication adherence and chronic disease management. “In Massachusetts, we have more doctors per capita than any other state in the Union. But if you want to get a primary care doctor in Boston . . . forget it.” At the American Telemedicine Association Nexus event, our Chief Medical Officer, Davis Liu discussed the need for innovative solutions, like our partnership with Tufts Medicine, to bridge the gap between demand and access to care. #ATANexus
