We had the pleasure of welcoming the Cypress Counseling & Wellness team for a tour at Cypress Creek Hospital! It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce our dedicated staff and share more about our inpatient and outpatient services, including our ECT program. We hope you enjoyed the visit as much as we did. You’re always welcome, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

We recently participated in The Chamber Cup Challenge, where businesses in the Tomball Chamber come together and compete in events for a trophy! Our Cypress Creek team showed up and gave it their all, but most importantly, they networked and strengthened relationships with community partners. We want to thank the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce for putting on such an amazing event!

Meet a few faces behind our outpatient services! At Cypress Creek Hospital, our outpatient team works hard to support the mental health and well-being of our community. Pictured here are Dr. Larry Flowers, Psychiatrist, Brittany, Mental Health Tech, and Princy, RN. They all play a major role in helping our patients navigate their healing journeys one step at a time. They provide clinical expertise and hands-on support to help ensure that every patient feels heard, understood, and supported. Our team partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) for the recent Out of the Darkness Walk. Together, we walked to bring awareness, offer support, and foster hope for those affected by suicide. Every step we take brings us closer to breaking the stigma and spreading awareness that no one has to face their struggles alone. If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline provides free 24/7 connection to confidential support from trained professionals. There is hope. Just call or text 988, or start a chat at 988lifeline.org. #OutoftheDarkness #TogetherForHope #AFSP

September is Healthy Aging Month, which brings attention to the positive aspects of growing older. It's important to encourage friends and family to focus on their mental, physical, emotional, and financial health as they age. It's never too late to adopt a healthier lifestyle, especially as we often get so caught up with our daily routine that we forget to take care of ourselves. If you or an older adult you know could use mental health support, the professionals in our Senior Adults program are here to help.
