Did you know that Delta has a Specialty Sports group that has worked with teams from high school all the way to the professional ranks? Join us on Wednesdays in October as we showcase recently completed projects by our Specialty Sports Team of Engineers. Today we showcase the SoFi Stadium Goal Posts. The stadium is home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, and site of Super Bowl LVI! Today, Delta members participated in the Annual Tom Crane Golf Tournament. This is in honor of one of our former employees, Tom Crane who was a shareholder, registered architect, and who was with Delta for almost 25 years before he passed away from cancer in February of 2011. Tom is very much missed, so we are playing in memory of him.

Today’s featured projects are Modular Buildings and Prestressed and Post-Tensioned Structural Components. The first photo highlights a Modular Building, which can be used as offices, school rooms, restrooms, storage, utility buildings, and more. You might encounter these buildings more often than you realize. The second photo showcases a Prestressed and Post-Tensioned Structural Component, essential for bridge beams, insulated wall panels, slabs, columns, hollow-core slabs, double tees, box beams, voided slabs, and other pre-stressed elements.
