Pineapple or no pineapple on your pizza? This question sparks much controversy, but there can be no doubt that shredded, melted cheese is a must! And who better to deliver on that than Uhrenholt! Our Ambassador Kirstine Vangkilde Berner and Counsellor on Food and Agriculture Kristian Nørfelt Lund recently had the opportunity to meet Senior VP Morten Staal Jonassen and Regional Director Kennet Paulsen at Uhrenholt’s Regional Head Office to learn about their 20+ years presence in Malaysia, and their mission to bring quality cheeses to the growing retail and food service markets throughout Southeast Asia. Danish companies within food and agriculture interested in doing business in Malaysia can contact Kristian on krislu@um.dk.

It is time to meet the latest addition to the Embassy team! Kristian Nørfelt Lund recently joined Denmark in Malaysia and comes with many years of consulting experience within food and agriculture. Malaysia holds a lot of potential when it comes to the agro-food scene - from ambitious targets on increasing productivity via smart farming technologies, reducing food waste by upcycling side streams, to promoting nutritutional and healthy food consumption. To sum up, there is a great potential for cross-border growth and partnerships! Kristian also came to Malaysia with another mission - to taste his way through the entire food scene in KL and beyond. All part of his extensive market research task. Until now, his favourite seems to be nasi minyak with all topics available just in front of our Embassy building. Danish companies within food and agriculture interested in doing business in Malaysia can contact Kristian on krislu@um.dk.

Ample opportunities for Danish solutions to support Malaysia’s green transition! Climate friendly Danish solutions are already making a big green impact in Malaysia, which was exemplified during the recent visit of the Danish Ambassador-Designate to Malaysia, H.E. Kirstine Vangkilde Berner and Head of Trade, Mark Perry to Kamstrup’s APAC Office. Great learning more about how smart metering solutions can help unlock efficiency gains in water utilities, building sectors and industries across the region. Danish companies interested in contributing to Malaysia’s green transition can contact Mark on markpe@um.dk for more information on how to join the Embassy’s strategic initiatives. #DKinSEA #greentogether
