Did you know there are two National Tooth Fairy Days each year? 🧚♀️ Once in February and again in August (today)! This magical day celebrates the Tooth Fairy and the important role she plays in children's lives. When a child loses a tooth, they place it under their pillow, hoping the Tooth Fairy will come and leave them a special surprise. This National Tooth Fairy Day, remember to keep your teeth healthy with regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups - just like the Tooth Fairy would want! 💫 #NationalToothFairyDay

Flossing is an important part of your daily oral hygiene routine. Flossing helps remove plaque and food particles from between your teeth, where your toothbrush can't reach. This helps prevent the buildup of plaque, which can lead to tooth decay and gum disease. Flossing also helps stimulate the gums and keep them healthy. To floss properly, gently guide the floss between your teeth using a gentle rubbing motion. Curve the floss into a C shape against one tooth and gently slide it beneath the gumline. Gently move the floss up and down. Repeat this process on the adjacent tooth. Be sure to floss both sides of every tooth. Flossing should be done at least once a day, preferably before bedtime. Make it a habit and your teeth and gums will thank you! https://lnkd.in/eDt3BATD #WellnessMonth #DentalHealth #FlossDaily
