Congratulations to our very own Cara Lewis who was honored at the 13th annual American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer event for her incredible contributions to the fight against cancer. This initiative has raised over $140 million since 1993 to support cancer awareness, fundraising, and advocacy. Cara and her fellow founders Roseann Montenes, Katie Klein, Amy Selwood McGovern and Megan Shutts launched MLCC to give back to the media industry and those who are survivors, pre-vivers, and thrivers. Through this, they created an outlet to speak openly and vulnerably during and after diagnosis, helping each other with a mentor program throughout the process. We are truly inspired by each of you!
