Find your happy place. Joy, the new collection of woven and coated high-performance textiles from Designtex reflects their longstanding belief that the spaces we inhabit should uplift our spirits. Silicone Cheer, inspired by lily pads, is a pattern that can energize or soothe. It is made of 100% silicone, exceeding the industry standard requirements for non-toxic fabrics and complies with tough Greenguard Gold and LEED criteria. It is Healthier Hospitals Compliant, with no PVC, PFAS, antimicrobials or flame retardants, and low VOCs and can also be used outdoors! In partnership with IIDA. 🔗 https://ow.ly/M1Pm50TGP8x

BIG NEWS: Designtex is now a PFAS-free company! It’s been a decade in the making, but as of today our products and inventory don’t contain any PFAS. We want to thank Healthcare Without Harm, Perkins&Will, the Green Science Policy Institute and Dr Arlene Blum, Dr. Graham Peaslee, and many others whose research spurred us along the way. As of October 1st, Designtex will be PFAS-free! After working hard to remove additives from our products, PFAS now joins that list. Designtex is going further than state-specific bans and labeling requirements to remain free of PFAS. As of October 1st, no shipments will go out containing the chemical, and all relevant finishes and specifications will be updated, indicating they are PFAS-free.
