The Dress for Success Pittsburgh team is hiring a Washington Branch Client Experience Intern to support boutique services at our Washington County location. Volunteer Spotlight! Meet our featured volunteer of the month Denise Sherry, who is employed by Brentwood Bank. Denise has primarily volunteered with Dress for Success Pittsburgh at its mobile event in Homestead, but she has also given time to the DFS warehouse and to the annual event sponsored by the Pittsburgh Promise suiting recent college grads for entry to the workforce. Denise loves the volunteer opportunities at Dress for Success Pittsburgh and getting to engage with this diverse, dynamic group of ladies has been an absolute joy. Brentwood Bank, a strong partner of Dress for Success Pittsburgh, actively engages in the communities they serve by supporting employee efforts in giving back to all communities. Brentwood provides many opportunities for employees to make a difference and embrace their local communities to foster more vibrant neighborhoods. Denise is always the first to volunteer and has participated in events with The Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh, City Mission, Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, South Hills Interfaith Ministries, and the Veterans Leadership Program. Denise believes volunteerism is equally as beneficial to the volunteer as it is to the recipient and Dress for Success Pittsburgh is everything a community outreach program should be.
