📆 Join us on Tues., Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. ET for the public launch of new resources from CancerX’s work to advance equity and reduce financial toxicity in cancer. Patient navigation programming is highly effective in facilitating equitable access to cancer care, reducing financial toxicity, and improving health and quality of life outcomes for cancer patients. However, resource limitations impact the ability of health systems and their partners to scale patient navigation programs to meet comprehensive care needs. These free resources, including an ROI calculator and patient navigation blueprint, will support health systems and patient navigators in developing a business case and digital patient navigation programming strategy – thereby improving access, cost, and health outcomes for more cancer patients. Learn more about how you can use these resources to unlock the promise of digital innovation and minimize disparities in cancer care access and out-of-pocket cost measures associated with cancer. Let’s work together to ensure that health systems can confidently invest in programming that increases equitable access to care and that financial worries do not overshadow cancer patients’ fight for recovery. 🔗 Register now: https://bit.ly/4cuJq3L University of Utah Cancer Support Community Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Epic University of North Carolina System Oracle

🚀 During a public launch event today, CancerX launched the final set of resources from the “Advancing Digital Innovation to Improve Equity and Reduce Financial Toxicity in Cancer Care and Research” project – a Digital Navigation ROI Calculator and a Digitally Enabled Patient Navigation Blueprint. Financial toxicity risk after a #cancer diagnosis is unevenly spread. Certain patient populations face unnecessary barriers in accessing specialized cancer treatment and disparities in clinical outcomes, such as higher mortality rates. Patient navigation programs enhance equal access to care, diminish financial toxicity, and improve #health and quality of life outcomes. However, they are not currently implemented at scale due to resource constraints. CancerX’s new, free resources provide patient navigators with the tools they need to develop a business case and implementation strategy for standardized, scalable, and sustainable patient navigation programming. Put these resources into action today: 💻 Use the Digital Navigation ROI Calculator to demonstrate the ROI your system may accrue after investing in digital patient navigation to boost access and reduce financial toxicity. 📝 Use the Digitally Enabled Patient Navigation Blueprint to ensure your patient navigation programming is standardized, efficient, and reimbursable. It also helps you build the business case for using digital patient navigation that improves access to care and reduces patient financial toxicity. The resources prove the value of investing in digital navigation programming to reduce patient financial toxicity, which impacts consistent appointment attendance, treatment plan adherence, access to necessary medications, and, ultimately, survival outcomes. 📚 Access the resources: https://bit.ly/3FUmiy7 American Cancer Society Biofourmis Blue Note Therapeutics Cancer Support Community City of Hope Current Health Family Reach Folia Health: The Home-Reported Outcomes Company Genomate Health Kaiser Permanente The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Lightship Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Our National Conversation (ONC) Oracle Pluto Health Science 37 Sidekick Health Takeda Digital Ventures Tempus AI Touch, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

💌 CancerX member Rochelle Prosser from Orchid Healthcare Solutions graciously shared her “What’s your why” response with us: 🌟 “I am the wife and mother of two cancer survivors, the child and grandchild of many cancer warriors deceased and living. As a healthcare provider, cancer certainly has set up camp at my doorstep. Knowing there are unique challenges faced by cancer survivors and their caregivers, I cannot ignore the challenge of making a difference in cancer as an active participant in the delivery of healthcare. CancerX has provided a way to cancer survivorship for my family, and I feel obligated to pay it forward to others.” 💙 We are honored to be working with passionate individuals like Rochelle every day. Thank you, Rochelle, for sharing your story with us!
