Join us for an evening of fun, food, and inspiration benefiting DASA Athletes! This is an opportunity to come together with the community and learn about and celebrate the accomplishments of our athletes. This annual event raises awareness and funds for individuals with physical disabilities to find their inner athlete through adaptive sports and fitness. Thank you to everyone who supported the DASA Rolling Rams Wheelchair Basketball Cops vs. Kids fundraiser last weekend! Through the generosity of our community partners we were able to raise over $5,000 to support our wheelchair basketball program! These funds directly support the team by paying for facility rentals, travel, and other general operational expenses. DASA was honored to be a part of the groundbreaking for the CarShield Sportsplex being built in Chesterfield! Upon the projects completion, the facility will be the new home of DASA's CarShield Sled Hockey program! CarShield has been a dedicated supporter of DASA for many years. We're excited to continue to build on our partnership and collaborate through the use of this new facility as we strive to elevate the experience of all of our athletes. The 325,000-square-foot facility will offer four indoor turf soccer fields, two indoor ice rinks, team locker rooms, a pro shop, training and fitness spaces, a restaurant, bar, concessions, classrooms, and competition ice rinks, educational hockey and futbol academies, youth training, food and entertainment year-round. Thank you to Gina Timme and family for supporting DASA through their pickleball tournament last month in honor of their beloved husband and father Dennis Timme, who passed away in November 2023. Dennis' father Tom played for the Rolling Rams Wheelchair Basketball team prior to the team joining DASA, in addition to being an avid wheelchair tennis player. His father's participation in adaptive sports had a tremendous impact on Dennis, and his family chose to support DASA in his honor. Through their pickleball tournament, the Timme family raised and donated over $2,000 to DASA to support our athletes and programming! We are so appreciative of their generosity and advocacy and share in furthering the legacy of Dennis Timme and his father Tom.
