Why Are New Wines and Spirits Brands Dominating Export Markets? In today’s competitive export markets, it seems like newer wine and spirits brands are winning faster and more aggressively than the older, well-established names. But what’s really driving this trend? Let’s dive into a dynamic conversation between Alex and Tom to get to the bottom of it. Alex: Have you noticed how new wine and spirits brands are taking over the export markets so quickly? It's insane! Tom: Yeah, I thought the older, established brands would be crushing it, but it’s the newcomers making the biggest impact. How are they doing it? Alex: Simple—hunger. New brands have no choice but to go all in. If they don’t sell fast, they’re done. They don’t have years of reputation to rely on, so they hustle harder. Tom: Makes sense. So, it’s like survival mode? Alex: Exactly. New brands are fearless. They push boundaries with their marketing. They’re aggressive in sales. They take risks that older brands might avoid. Tom: And what about the big, established names? They’ve got the experience, the quality… Why aren’t they on top? Alex: Many of them are comfortable. They’ve already made it in a few markets, so they cruise. No rush, no urgency. But that’s where they miss out! They get stuck in their ways while the new brands are all about action and energy. Tom: Wow. So, the secret is just... hunger and hustle? Alex: That’s part of it. But when you see an old brand getting new leadership, that’s when things change. A new generation can bring the fire back and make waves in the market. It's all about mindset. Tom: Interesting. So, old brands could dominate again if they just tap into that energy? Alex: Absolutely! They have the reputation. If they match the new brands in marketing and drive, they could skyrocket. Tom: So what’s next for all these brands? Alex: Well, if they’re smart, they’ll start thinking like a new brand. And if they’re really smart, they’ll come to us at Distributors Road (link in bio). We’re here to help every brand, old or new, take their export game to the next level. #WineMarketing #SpiritsBrands #ExportSales #GlobalExpansion #SalesStrategy #NewBrands #EstablishedBrands #MarketGrowth #WineAndSpirits #InternationalBusiness #MarketingTactics

🌍 Discover the Best Countries for Exporting Wine, Spirits, and Beer 🌍 Choosing the perfect countries for exporting your wine, spirits, or beer can significantly impact your success. Here’s how to navigate the global market: For red wines, think of France, Italy, and China – markets with a deep appreciation for robust flavors. If you’re offering white wines, the crisp palates of Germany, the USA, and Singapore are where your bottles will shine. Sparkling wines find their sparkle in Spain and the UK. When it comes to sweetness, American people loves sweeter wines, while Germany leans towards drier options. In the world of spirits, innovative brands are celebrated in the USA and South Korea, where new and unique spirits are always in demand. Be mindful of alcohol content regulations, as countries like Norway and Sweden impose specific taxes based on alcohol percentage. For beer brands, high-price premium beers are highly valued in Japan and Switzerland. Conversely, Brazil and India have a preference for affordable options in large quantities. Every market has its own set of rules and preferences. Need help deciding where to start? 💬 Comment 'Yes' or 'Interested' to set up a 30 minutes meeting. Let's maximize your export sales together! With over 20 years of experience in export sales across Asia and Europe, we can guide you to the ideal markets. #export #exportsales #distributorsroad #winesandspiritsexport

Why Importers Don’t Buy? (And Tips to sell) read on: Yesterday, I received an email mentioning that trade shows are too expensive and don’t generate enough sales. And that 'The real issue is that importers don’t buy.' So, I want to share my perspective on selling to importers: Importers receive numerous emails daily, just like I do. Offers for wines, spirits, beers, etc., flood their inboxes. Every email is a description of the offer, saying, “Buy my wine, it’s the best.” Acting this way, whether at trade shows, B2B meetings, or other methods, you won’t sell. Selling wine, spirits, or beer, like any sale, must follow these steps: 1. Establish a quality contact with the importer (this can take weeks or months, and ideally, be physically in the country). 2. Understand their real needs and distribution systems. 3. Help them optimize their sales. 4. Propose products that meet their expectations. 5. Suggest additional products they hadn’t considered (upselling). To achieve this, you need either: - Your internal export service, ideally with an office in the country. - Attend trade shows (repeating the same show each year with significant follow-up between shows). - B2B meetings through a company like Distributors Road and a trade show (included, no extra fees). The advantage of using a solution like Distributors Road for sales: - We have our network of Distributors established. (trust) - We are in the targeted country physically. - We propose your products as a primary or upsell option (you benefit from the products of others). - We are more credible in promoting your brand (every brand claims to be the best; it’s more credible when a third party explains it).
