For more than 10O years, Toastmasters International has helped millions of people become more confident communicators, public speakers, and leaders. The Toastmasters network of clubs and its learn-by-doing program were created to help you gain the skills needed to achieve your personal and professional goals. District 114 comprises over 60 Toastmasters clubs in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. Corporates that have chosen Toastmasters include Nairobi Bottlers, The World Bank Group, Kenya, and The American Embassy among others. I’m a husband to Phiona Abila & father to 4 sons. I enjoy traveling, spin biking, swimming, and long distance running and I’ve conquered several marathons and ultra marathons including Comrades in South Africa. What you do from 9am to 5pm? Martin Abila: I am an IT enthusiast (digital transformation, cyber security, information systems audit & governance), husband, father, & farmer. When did you join Toastmasters? Martin Abila: I joined Toastmasters on July 2023. Which Toastmasters club you belong to including positions served to date. Martin Abila: I am a member of Kampala Sunrise Toastmasters Club where I serve as the Vice President of Public Relations as of July 2024.
