This week I got to spend 3 days in Houston to attend the final event for the participants of the DivInc Sports Tech Incubator, and participate in one of their panels. Ashley DeWalt & Nate Thompson - I was deeply impressed by what you have built and the quality of the participants. I knew that Nyla Pollard (Ballin AI) and Karishma Bali (Drip) were working on something special as I was fortunate to share a few slices of wisdom with them throughout this program, but it was amazing to see that the quality stretched to all participants, and it was great to meet amazing founders like Joshua Reid, Jennifer Yepez-Blundell, and Kobi Wu Congratulations to everyone involved in Houston for building an impressive ecosystem for sports tech startups! Jan-Luc Blakborn, Jesse Martinez, thank you for the hospitality and showing me around - you changed the conversation for me :)
