The Digital Out of Home Academy is an industry supported digital and programmatic education platform for the global out of home industry. The DOOH Academy offers digital and programmatic certification courses, thought leadership, opinion pieces, industry news, and case studies. The goal is to advance the industry through education and knowledge sharing. Funded through the generous support of leading companies in the industry, the certification classes and content are accessible to everyone. An advisory team made up of Senior Advisors from leading ad-tech, data, agency, and media companies as well as trade associations and industry bodies, advise on the certification classes to insure the curriculum is accurate and thorough. Experts from the industry help to deliver the content through video interviews, thought leadership and supporting content. In addition to the unbiased certification classes, the platform hosts a growing library of thought leadership including expert opinion pieces and case studies to highlight how some of the most successful companies are applying the learning in the real world. These company specific components are an important compliment to the unbiased training so you can learn how leading companies in the industry put this learning to use. The first certification course is "Digital & Programmatic Fundamentals". Throughout the year, you will see growing content introduced to the resource center, including new thought leadership, expert opinion pieces, industry news, and case studies plus shorter form educational segments and company specific video content. Good day at AD Club of NY #OOHNOW event. Especially interesting to hear the session moderated by Kenetta Bailey with Clear Channel Outdoor. Larisa Johnson #NBA talks about how they measure #OOH campaign effectiveness looking at many factors including 3rd party verification. I agree in the importance of independent Verification for OOH media and love how Veridooh is leading the out of home verification conversation with their patented “Smart Creative” technology. A true independent verification solution for out of home media that independently reports, is easy to scale, and does not rely on ad logs from operator CMS’s which become hard to scale, cumbersome to integrate across media operators, and negate the concept of independence. #verification should be independent or else it is simply automating reporting and not actually independently verifying. In Australia, the OOH industry is now 16% of an advertisers ad spend. This means the industry is successfully showing the value of OOH to advertisers and shifting ad spend to the medium. It is great to see that the Australian out of home (OOH) market continues to lead the way for growth and market share globally. In Australia, OOH growth was 15.8% in September which takes total OOH market share to a record 16%, reports Chris Pash OAM for AdNews Australia. Compare that to a global average of 5%. In a recent survey, 100% of our clients agreed that they have more confidence in the ROI of OOH as a result of independent verification, our flagship product. We're looking forward to rolling out our products globally and driving the growth of OOH around the world.
