Head of Sustainability, Belonging, & Corporate Philanthropy at Neiman Marcus Group

Today Neiman Marcus Group launched our new and improved All Heart #employeegiving and #volunteerism platform powered by Deed. During the first few hours, we've seen nearly 1,000 associates log in to the platform and donate $70,000+ to deserving non-profits across the US ❤️ In addition to facilitating NMG's existing philanthropic benefits like matching gift, payroll giving, and paid volunteer time off, the platform allows our workforce to create impact right from their phone via a mobile app, pay for donations in new ways with options like Venmo and Paypal, and build community while they volunteer by organizing events with their favorite Associate Community Networks and leveraging the platform's social sharing feature to amplify their deeds on popular networks like Facebook and LinkedIn. Kudos to Monica Gonzales (I am so proud of you!), Camille Duhon, Jaden Felix, and the entire project team spanning Procurement, IT, Legal, Finance, HRIS, People Services, Corporate Communications, All Heart Ambassadors, and ACN leaders for making it easier than ever for our business to Lead With Love.

  • It’s Financial Friday Tips! By focusing on these areas, you can build a strong financial foundation, ensuring long-term stability and growth.   Invest in Yourself and Your Career Education and Skill Development: Continuously invest in education and skill development to enhance your career prospects. This can lead to higher earning potential and more career opportunities. Networking and Mentorship: Build a strong professional network and seek out mentors. Networking can open doors to new opportunities and mentorship can provide valuable guidance and support. Plan for the Future Retirement Savings: Start saving for retirement as early as possible. Take advantage of employer-sponsored retirement plans like 401(k)s and individual retirement accounts (IRAs). Even small, regular contributions can grow significantly over time. Insurance and Estate Planning: Ensure you have adequate insurance coverage (health, life, disability) and have an estate plan in place, including a will and possibly a trust, to protect your assets and provide for your loved ones. Manage Debt Wisely Avoid High-Interest Debt: Be cautious with credit card use and other high-interest loans. Pay off balances in full each month to avoid interest charges. Debt Repayment Strategies: If you have existing debt, prioritize paying off high-interest debt first. Consider using strategies like the debt avalanche (paying off highest interest rate debt first) or debt snowball (paying off smallest balances first) to manage and reduce debt effectively. #DressforSuccessDallas #DFSDallas #FinancialFreedom #MoneyManagement #EmpoweringWomen #WomenandMoney
