DRIVE SMART Virginia, founded in 1995, is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to educating drivers and raising traffic safety awareness in order to save lives and reduce injuries on the roadways of Virginia. Our mission is advanced by fostering community partnerships, creating educational campaigns, designing and distributing educational materials, making presentations, attending outreach events, and advocating for traffic safety initiatives.

Throughout the year we're continuing to partner with DRIVE SMART to educate teens about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. Students across the Virginia Beach & Baltimore metro areas participate in a virtual reality texting and driving simulator, impaired driving cart course, and a mock traffic stop demonstration.
