For World Mental Health Day 2024, we're shining a light on a growing issue: burnout in the workplace. With the pressures of modern life, it’s more important than ever to recognise the signs of burnout – chronic stress, exhaustion, and feeling disconnected from work. Burnout doesn’t happen overnight; it’s gradual and can take hold before you are truly aware of it. Whether it's taking breaks, setting boundaries, or reaching out for help, small steps make a big difference. It’s everyone’s responsibility to champion mental health in the workplace. Let’s all work together to create healthier work environments, embrace balance, and support one another. You can find out how to get involved and read more about the effects of burnout at https://zurl.co/34O1 .

Happy #NationalPoetryDay! ✍️ Did you know that some of the greatest poets have deep ties to our beloved East Midlands? 🌿 Lord Byron, a major figure of the Romantic movement, spent much of his time at the iconic Newstead Abbey and Colwick Hall. Learn more about his life and legacy here: https://zurl.co/1gh4 📚 D.H. Lawrence, renowned poet and novelist, was born in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. His former home has even been turned into a museum to celebrate his life and works: https://zurl.co/D9xl 🌄 Derbyshire’s stunning landscapes have also inspired countless poems. The rolling hills of the Peak District and winding rivers like the Derwent and Dove continue to captivate writers. Sir John Betjeman was so moved by Matlock Bath that he even dedicated a poem to it! Poetry lives in the heart of the East Midlands - why not write your own? Let our region inspire your creativity!
