ECMC reposted this
Over 30 years, our organization has evolved considerably. During this time, we have invested in the success of millions of students, from scholarships through our ECMC Scholars and College Nights programs, to impact investments in postsecondary education and workforce solutions through our Education Impact Fund, to the many grants and program-related investments by ECMC Foundation and beyond. We celebrate the many successes over our history and look forward to continued opportunities to advance our mission to help students succeed and to transform lives through education.

The Virginia Tribal Education Consortium (VTEC) and ECMC recently came together to host a transformative "Realizing the College Dream" workshop at the invitation of the Upper Mattaponi Tribe. This workshop provided educators with essential tools and resources to support students from tribal communities in their pursuit of postsecondary education. Tailored to the unique needs of these students, along with other community-based organizations and area schools, the event offered comprehensive guidance on navigating the college application process, understanding financial aid options and managing education finances responsibly. If you are interested in hosting your own "Realizing the College Dream" event, please connect with us!
