Supporting entrepreneurs who are reimagining the future of work and postsecondary success.

Thankful to be in community with so many passionate, impact-oriented innovators who work diligently to reimagine and transform the postsecondary and workforce landscape. The Future of Higher Ed Denver Chapter brought folks together to kick off the Human Potential Summit and generate momentum for collaboration and partnership across the Colorado and national ecosystem. As Taylor McLemore prompted us throughout the week and modeled with the Idea Marketplace, one next step we can commit to as a chapter is to host regular whiteboard sessions and case study meetups to apply an action-oriented approach and leverage these spaces to remove redundancy, embrace complexity, and accelerate the great work happening in Colorado. Thank you to everyone who attended our lunch. Can't wait for future opportunities to connect. Feel free to reach out to learn more about what we're cooking up in Colorado! It was great to bring our portfolio and co-investors together for the Metrics that Matter convening to kick off EDTECH WEEK. Thank you to Erin Mote, Antony Bugg-Levine, and Kelly Fitzsimmons for sharing your knowledge and experience with impact measurement and management, and most importantly, for illuminating how impact can be a key accelerant for startups.  A few highlights from the convening include: 📊 Measurement is a point-in-time concept, often looking back at a company’s impact. We should focus our efforts on the management processes to ensure the data, feedback, and insights collected are core to decision-making and drive a continual improvement process. 📐 Across the landscape, aligning your business with the ESSA Tiers of Evidence, Social and Economic Mobility Standards, and the Good Jobs Principles will establish deeper, more collaborative partnerships with postsecondary institutions and employers. 🔬 Procurement processes are increasingly being held accountable to buying outcomes, not just innovation. Having substantial evidence for how your business drives toward or delivers outcomes that matter is not only a competitive advantage, but also an opportunity to support the leaders implementing your solution. Thank you to everyone that attended. Acadeum Aprende Institute CareAcademy Motivo Health Kyron Learning GSV Ventures Leeds Illuminate Strada Education Foundation
