About us
With over six decades of experience and hundreds of completed projects on six continents, EDSA has helped shape the global practice of planning, landscape architecture and urban design. The firm is widely recognized for its abilities to deal with complex projects in the following market sectors: hotels and resorts, community planning, attractions and entertainment, urban design, campus and cultural and ecotourism. The EDSA staff consists of approximately 150+ planners, landscape architects, and support personnel, providing complete planning, design, production and field supervision services from offices in Fort Lauderdale, the firm's headquarters, Orlando, Baltimore, New York and Shanghai. As Team Leaders we collaborate across disciplines, keeping our clients' goals in the forefront and a defined yet flexible end-point on the horizon. It's important to get the project built, on this point we refuse to fail, but it is the attention to detail which enhances the quality of each project that has become our hallmark. It is the details on which people reminisce. It is the details that make the most imaginative conceptual designs through the most conservative project come alive.

EDSA summer interns recently took part in our annual design charrette, where the group examined a vital yet underserved area in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Working alongside representatives from the city, the team considered existing roadways, trail systems, wayfinding, community anchors and more to create a final concept, called ‘One Sun Village’, that would serve as a connected, mixed-use hub for residents and visitors to gather, play and thrive. #edsaplan #landscapearcitecture #planning #design #fortlauderdale #charrette #students

Promoting themes of life and wisdom, the Zhongda International 99 Wellness Community located in Xi’an, China, provides a nature-driven environment where individuals can thrive and flourish. Inspired by the local topography, a ‘green valley’ resides at the property’s core, with multi-tiered, sunken plazas and water features throughout. Developed in four zones: active living, assisted living, wellness and healthcare, each hub prioritizes socialization while offering sensorial outdoor experiences that mimic the changing of the seasons. Working alongside WATG and Wimberly Interiors, EDSA provided conceptual and schematic design, along with design development services, for the 41-hectare later living destination. #edsaplan #landscapearchitecture #planning #design #seniorliving #healthcare #mixeduse
