This week, we're celebrating the incredible impact our Missouri SBDC at Missouri State University has been able to make on small businesses right here in our community. This year, we've seen firsthand how our support can turn dreams into reality, especially when it comes to securing vital funding. Take Deana Acton of Sandpiper Inn in Branson. After years of hard work and with the invaluable guidance of our team, Sandpiper secured not one, but TWO grants, including a $30,000 Small Business Enhancement Grant! But the wins don't stop there. Vroom Solar's groundbreaking work in solar technology also received a major boost with an AFWERX SBIR contract, thanks in part to guidance and connections along the way. These stories exemplify what SBDC Day is all about: igniting local transformations and the resources that empower them.
