The Northern Indiana Commuter Transport District’s Double Track NWI project recently achieved a significant milestone with the opening of the South Shore Line. Egis was a key player in this project, one of the largest public transit investments in Indiana's history, providing real estate, demolition, and construction services. Our team's dedication and expertise have contributed to the successful completion of this monumental endeavor, enhancing passenger rail service between NWI and Chicago. There is immense potential for high-speed rail to dramatically transform the country’s transportation system.
