🌉 How to Increase the Resilience of Infrastructure? We are excited to invite you to watch our video on the reconstruction of the Charmaix Viaduct, an innovative project that showcases our commitment to sustainable and resilient infrastructure. 🌍 This project is carried out by Egis on behalf of the SFTRF - Société Française du Tunnel Routier du Fréjus (SFTRF). The reconstruction of the Charmaix Viaduct is an impressive example of engineering in existing contexts, capable of transforming geotechnical challenges into lasting solutions. To ensure its longevity over the next 100 years, continuous maintenance is essential to optimize its operation and extend its lifespan for future generations. 🏗️ Advanced Technical Solutions, Instrumentation and Monitoring, Observational Methods, Adaptation to Ground Movement: all show the mountain imposes its conditions, and it is the role of engineering to adapt. [Award 🏆] Nous sommes fiers d'annoncer qu'Egis a été récompensé par SNCF Réseau lors d'une journée dédiée à la sécurité ferroviaire "Nos vies, nos priorités", pour l'utilisation de notre outil digital HSE Report dans le cadre de la démarche STOP & Go. Cette distinction souligne notre engagement envers la sécurité et la prévention sur les chantiers ferroviaires. 💡 HSE Report est un outil de collaboration co-développé avec notre partenaire UBIPLACE, qui favorise la remontée d'informations, permettant de signaler tout dysfonctionnement ou quasi-accident, en garantissant une traçabilité optimale grâce à des indicateurs clés et des fiches détaillées. La démarche STOP & Go permet d'interrompre une opération en cas d'écart, d'analyser la situation et de reprendre en toute sécurité. Cette approche pourra ainsi être facilitée dans sa mise en œuvre chez Egis grâce à notre application sur nos chantiers ferroviaires. Nous sommes aujourd'hui ravis de développer une version spécifique qui intègre la terminologie des démarches de sécurité déployées par SNCF Réseau et qui répond aux enjeux de prévention et de "libération de la parole" (Savoir, voir, savoir dire). L'expérience utilisateur simple et fluide de HSE Report facilite son adoption par tous les acteurs du chantier, permettant une géolocalisation associée à une liste de contacts pour une communication efficace. Cela réduit le délai entre la création d’un constat et sa prise en compte par l'entreprise, assurant ainsi une gestion rapide des risques. Un grand merci à Jean-Philippe Ramaut, Denis KLIPFEL, Anne-Lise BERTHIER et Gérald FESQUET pour leurs actions dans cette démarche. [Breaking news] 📢Contract awarded to EDF and Egis for Initial Study on Nuclear Energy Deployment in Serbia. The Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia awarded the contract to EDF and Egis for delivering the preliminary technical study for considering the potential use of civil nuclear power in the country. 🤝This will be an opportunity to build a new promising collaboration for the Serbian nuclear development. The Government of Serbia is laying out the groundwork to evaluate the opportunity to deploy a civil nuclear power program based on the country’s specific requirements and capabilities. 🎉 We are proud to support, through this contract, the Ministry in its decision-making as it moves to the next phase. [Breaking news]✍ Signature d'un accord de partenariat entre Egis et Orano pour le Programme Aval du futur. Aujourd'hui, Orano a signé un accord de partenariat avec Egis (représenté par François MARTIN, thomas salvant, Ronan Artur et Nathalie Amar),  Capgemini, ECIA (une entité d’ Equans France) et SNEF- EKIUM pour le programme Aval du Futur. Ce programme majeur pour la France s’inscrit dans la stratégie nationale de traitement et de recyclage des combustibles du parc électronucléaire actuel et futur. L’accord signé entre Orano et Egis couvre de manière non limitative, les domaines du management de projet, de la sûreté, de l’installation générale, de l’architecture, du génie civil, de la mécanique, de l’électricité, de la ventilation, de la constructibilité, et du digital. 📣 François Martin a indiqué : « La signature de cet accord de partenariat acte le renouvellement de notre relation historique avec Orano. Elle témoigne également, dans le contexte de renaissance de l’industrie nucléaire en France et des tensions anticipées sur les ressources et les compétences, de la volonté d’imaginer ensemble de nouveaux modes de coopération en entreprise étendue au service de la performance des grands projets de construction nucléaires ». #egis #nucleaire

🌍 Ready for another journey through Egis' iconic sustainable projects? This week, we continue our journey reviewing impactful projects from our Flagship Projects book, highlighting Egis' commitment to a sustainable future. Project no. 3: Transforming urban mobility with the new Grand Paris Express: - 200km of automated metro lines - 3 million passengers per day - 14 million tons of CO2 emissions avoided by 2050 - Eco-design performance level 3! Ⓜ️ The Grand Paris Express is Europe’s major mobility project aimed at improving access across the greater Paris area with 4 new metro lines. This initiative improves transport and helps the move to more sustainable, energy-efficient mobility. 🚇 Line 16 will serve 800,000 residents in the east of Seine-Saint-Denis after 2026. This 29 km line with 10 underground stations will be fully automated and set to significantly improve daily commutes and regional connectivity. Egis is applying an eco-design approach that considers environmental and social issues. On metro Line 16, we're promoting eco-friendly energy management and reducing carbon. This includes improving the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, energy regeneration, and frequency variation. Our teams also designed fibre-reinforced concrete to improve the use of excavated materials. BIM technology in the design phases helped to improve the technical facilities and reduce the excavation volumes.
