[Breaking News] Hot on the heels of Paris-Beauvais Airport, another airport in the Egis network, Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, has achieved Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA), this time at Level 3 🎉 Infrastructure management is one of our core activities, and together with our partners, we are dedicated to demonstrating our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. At Bergerac, they were cut by 36% between 2017 and today, thanks to the electrification of aircraft stands, the introduction of LED lighting, and the installation of new solar power stations and canopies. 🌞 Remarkably, three-quarters of the airports in the Egis network are now ACA-accredited. Strategies to reduce emissions are ongoing, with objectives set for each airport to progress further up the ACA levels. Onwards and upwards!

Durant les jeux de Paris 2024, les volontaires Egis ont participé à lancer la dynamique d’une société plus engagée. 🤝 “Il y a la projection des Jeux d'hiver de 2030, sur lesquels on se projette déjà, notamment avec cette cohorte de volontaires”. Marie-Françoise Potereau, vice-présidente du Comité national olympique français, en charge de Paris 2024 et de la mixité, souligne la dynamique engagée pendant les de Paris 2024 avec plus de 45 000 volontaires mobilisés. “Il va falloir avoir énormément de volontaires. Ce sont des cohortes qui vont être très régulièrement sollicitées” ajoute-t-elle. Cette culture du volontariat et de l’engagement a été portée par 50 collaborateurs Egis, parmi lesquels Sophie Lambert, directrice de travaux sur le Grand Paris Express. L’implication humaine de ces salariés raconte la force et l’engagement inspirant du collectif au sein du groupe. [Appointment] We are glad to announce that Xavier LAZENNEC has been appointed Director of Water, Environment and Energy Transition! 👇 Xavier joined the Egis Group in mid-2021 as Director of Water and Energy services. In his new position, Xavier will play a key role in the integration and global development of these activities, as well as the shift towards digital offerings to meet the challenges of adapting to climate change and biodiversity erosion, while developing our practices to remain a leading technical engineering company. 💡 More on Xavier's professional journey: He has a long experience of working with companies of all sizes, mainly within large French groups specializing in the environment and engineering.
