We were thrilled to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Pacoima’s first certified farmers market with our partners, clients, staff, and community members. We had so much fun recognizing this milestone. Members from the Panorama Baptist Church’s church choir performed, healthy food was distributed to community members, and new and old vendors alike engaged with attendees. One year after launching, we are so proud to see it improving the community's access to fresh and nutritious food while providing local entrepreneurs and artisans a venue to sell their wares. This initiative has also provided an opportunity for partner organizations to offer services and volunteer time. We appreciate the select community members who are trained and compensated to oversee the operations and growth of the weekly market—without them success would not be possible! We are open every Saturday from 9am – 2pm. Come visit us at: 11243 Glenoaks Boulevard, Pacoima, CA 91331 Huge thanks to all our farmers market sponsors: GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles - GLA, Capital One, Banc of California, Bank of America, Molina Healthcare, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, and Gain Federal Credit Union. We also deeply appreciate our elected leaders, Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, Office of Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, and Senator Caroline Menjivar, for their continued support. #FreshFood #HealthyLiving #Pacoima #CommunityGrowth
