Proud to be featured in The Wall Street Journal for our battery and EV charging technology! As our CEO Quincy Edmund Lee explains, Electric Era's solution tackles a critical industry bottleneck. Our on-site batteries allow our fast-charging stations to use smaller, readily available transformers instead of large, specialized ones that can take years to acquire. This approach accelerates the expansion of charging networks, making our stations faster to install and more economical than conventional options. Founder & CEO at Electric Era | Building the future of car refill for C-store retailers

The full Electric Era team has been firing on all cylinders to activate our largest battery backed EV charging station yet. The soft launch period started this morning and we are already seeing great usage in Command Console from our Network Operations Center back here in Seattle. This video provides a look at what Electric Era customers see everyday. Clean, streamlined real-time data at your fingertips assessing financials, charging power levels, session revenues, reliability, uptime, driver loyalty and more. I am excited to release more insights about the station in the weeks to come. Stay tuned 👀 ⚡ In the meantime check out a recent blog post from our VP of Implementation Lang Reynolds about how Command Console can supercharge your EV charging station operations and performance 👇 https://lnkd.in/gG2aCGfd #electricvehicles #EVcharging

This is a somewhat late post, but I wanted to thank the P3 Electrified Summit ⚡ (Sarah Zinn, CEM & Sandra McQuain) for the space to discuss how a #P3 approach can be used to advance delivery of fast chargers being deployed through the NEVI Program. 🐔 & 🥚: Surveys have found that up to 80% of potential EV buyers cite a lack of charging stations as a key reason to not purchase an EV. Due to the anticipated slow growth of EV adoption, charging companies do not install charging stations at a faster rate, and the sentiment remains. NEVI Program: It’s $5 billion program with a goal of having 500,000 publicly accessible chargers in the US by 2030 (triple the amount today). It provides up to 80% of reimbursement to eligible capital and operating expenses for companies that install EV chargers. States oversee their respective procurement processes and award funds for selected sites. To date, 72% of states have initiated procurement of sites, and $572 million has been allocated for approximately 3,480 chargers. 🛣 First phase: States are required to award funding to sites located no more than 50 miles apart along freeways and highways and no more than 1 mile from a freeway exit or highway roadway. Chargers need to be “fast” chargers (Level 3). This will significantly improve the EV driving experience and help neutralize the general feeling that there are not enough charging stations for EV drivers outside of and between urbanized populated cities. ⏭ Next Phase: States seem to need less than 30%-40% of their allocated NEVI funds to complete the first phase (i.e., a charger every 50 miles). Given our work and knowledge of progress by States, deploying charging stations at a faster pace and more efficiently will require innovative methods. States will have more flexibility to install chargers outside of the main highways, along with the ability to fund Level 2 chargers (significantly cheaper). 👌: My argument is that a #P3 approach might help deliver these chargers as a bundle, deploy funds faster, help States manage less contracts, put more emphasis on risk transfer to the private sector, and promote innovation in site selection and technology approach. 🛑: This is not for every State, it should not preclude participation from smaller firms, and may require enabling legislation, among other considerations. Many thanks to Brian Kyuhoon No and William Gorham for their great contribution as panelists on this event, they were instrumental in shaping my thoughts around this idea, and to Dylan Sellars for his awesome input and help with the presentation. #P3Summit #Infrastructure #P3 #WSP

A couple weeks ago, Electric Era had the privilege of participating on a panel at the P3 Electrified Summit on potential ways states could improve/innovate the NEVI program. One idea that was discussed, for example, was a regional approach to contracting. Since we help our customers -- whether small businesses or larger enterprise companies -- secure NEVI funding across the country, it was great to be able to bring our perspectives to the conversation. Big thanks to Camilo Monge for organizing and leading the panel and to William Gorham for joining the fun discussion! #EVCharging #Sustainability #EVPolicy #NEVI

Over the last year Electric Era has delivered 4,000 EV charging sessions and 100MWh of total dispensed energy from 6 customer stations. We have held 99.6% uptime, 93% SCAR, and 68% driver session loyalty. Over the next year we will install an additional 30-50 additional stations on our way to 1GWh of dispensed energy. That is the equivalent of driving ~3,500,000 miles in an EV⚡ 🚘 Here is a great blog from Lang Reynolds on how real-time software insights on station revenue, uptime and SCAR optimizes retailer business outcomes 👇 https://lnkd.in/gG2aCGfd #electricvehicles #evcharging #cstores #retailers
