Here's what you need to know: ➡️ The Red Flag Warning is in effect from 5 a.m. today until 5 p.m. Sunday. ➡️ Affected regions: North Bay, Inland East Bay, Santa Clara Hills, Santa Cruz Mountains, and the San Mateo coastline. ➡️ Winds are anticipated to gust between 40 to 60 miles an hour. ➡️ The peak risk period is between 10 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday. Safety Reminders: 🛑 ➡️ Review your car emergency kit today. ➡️ Discuss a safe meeting point outside of high fire danger zones for family and friends in case of evacuations. ➡️ Brace for potential power outages due to winds or preemptive shutdowns for safety. ➡️ Ensure you have easy-to-prepare meals, medications on hand, and a go-bag with clothes and basic toiletries. ➡️ Examine "zone zero" around your house (0-5 ft range).
