  • THANK YOU! For all of your help and participation this last 2 weeks. We have: -More than doubled the amount of survey takers from the previous ones, with rich data. -Had more communities involved than ever before with Revenue Enablement Society, The Enablement Squad, and WiSE - Women in Sales Enablement along with support from Gartner Peer community, Women in Sales, and others like Badassery. Here is where we go from here: 1-Our academic advisors will tear through the data and prepare for a peer reviewed study 2-Write the academic study for publication and peer review 3-Submit for review through various journals 4-Wait for approval 5-Once approved, we publish both the academic version and a practitioner version 6-Begin to dive into next study to add on to what we know This is not a fast process and one we knew would take time, but after 3 surveys, we have a good idea of where we are, now its time to move forward to where we need to go. Very excited to share the results with you! For transparency, in order for us to submit for a publication, we have to hold back results so that the first time you see it, it is through the publication, so we cannot share any results until the peer review process is over which can take 60-90 days at least. However at that time, we are not going to gate the information, but give it freely for your use to help you or your teams. Thank you for your involvement, for the passion and for the support. Good things are coming... #enablementrise

  • What is the difference between Academic peer reviewed study and Vendor marketing based surveys? Let me tell you ;) Here’s a breakdown using actual data points from the survey: 1. Descriptive Analytics (Level 1): This level provides a straightforward snapshot of data. For instance, the survey shows that “% of respondents are currently employed” (Q8). This basic analysis tells us the current employment status within the cohort, offering an overview of who is actively engaged in the field. Most studies like the recent Salesforce quarter study ends here. Only a few vendors even make it to Level 2. Most questions asked on this level from a marketing or vendor view could be described as, "Leading the witness" or questions that do not give any room to criticize the vendor itself. An example is that Salesforce is not going to ask how much someone dislikes Salesforce, but they will ask something in the opposite direction with no room for data that could be potentially damning for obvious reasons. 2. Diagnostic Analytics (Level 2): This approach explores why certain trends are evident. Analyzing responses to “How often does Enablement have meetings with Sales teams?” (Q10), we can identify if there’s a relationship between the frequency of these meetings and perceived enablement effectiveness. This helps us understand the underlying factors influencing sales team dynamics and training efficacy. 3. Predictive Analytics (Level 3): At this level, we use historical data to forecast future trends. For example, examining the trend in responses to “I believe that Sales Enablement is effective” (Q15) over multiple survey periods can predict future confidence levels in enablement practices. This foresight aids in proactive planning and strategy adjustments. 4. Prescriptive Analytics (Level 4): The most advanced level, where based on the predictions, specific recommendations are made. If data indicates a positive impact of frequent enablement sessions on sales performance, prescriptive analytics would suggest not only continuing with the current frequency but potentially increasing it or focusing sessions on identified weak areas. ONE BIG REASON why we do the group research live studies like on last Monday is to get context on the survey data and a better understanding of what is happening. When you combine those together, you get a rich dataset. One thing we will have with our advantage is that we are doing quarterly surveys so we can track over time how these change or not. We are also passionate about not only finding out where we are currently, but looking forward to where we want to go and what Enablement can become and lift the profile and influence of Enablement. More to come! #enablementrise

  • Our research is dependent on a number of responses and we need your help to get there! We are doing amazing and just would ask for more people to participate in the survey from: Enablement professionals and leaders Sales reps Sales Leaders or Revenue Leaders. We kept the survey short on purpose, but please know, even though it is short, the information we will glean from this will be powerful. We are considering ways of publishing this information afterwards and will be keeping you all in touch so you can see the output. So excited for this year being the first step and seeing what we can do over in the future. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! Survey in the comments.

It is TIME for the survey!!!! If you go the L$nk in the comments you can take the survey for this quarter. We are wanting to get this out to as many as possible, so if you have connections to: Individual sales reps Revenue Leaders or Sales leaders (VP or CRO's) Enablement Leaders and Professionals We want all of them to respond so we can get data from all areas where Enablement influences. Also, we created a Slack group (as much as I did not want to, but seems to be the best way to communicate as we grow) that you can join in. This will be our communication hub along with emails to make sure we get communication out about the research groups, surveys, etc. This is also in the comments. let us know if you have any questions!

  • Enablement professionals....it is time. We will be sending out the survey and it will be live on July 22-31, 2024 for the next round. We have been working on the back end getting some pieces in place for this last half of the year. We will be having our live research group meetup on Aug 5th at either 9 am EST or 5 pm EST, to which you can join either session. Calendar invites have already been sent out to those who have given their info to us. If you have not filled out the involvement form, you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/gvCgkJWs One note, we are in active talks with a few publication options that we want to work with regarding the results, so looking forward to sharing more about that during the live session.
