🌟 Employee Spotlight: Tania Biswas 🌟 We’re excited to highlight EERC Research Chemist Saptashati TANIA Biswas PhD, DTM who recently presented her work at the American Chemical Society Annual Meeting in Denver! Tania's research focuses on the suitability of carbon-based sorbents for recovering critical minerals from oil and gas produced water. Her study revealed that steam-activated carbon derived from North Dakota lignite coal showed the most promise among the tested sorbents. The poster attracted significant interest from fellow researchers and national laboratories. Demolition is fun, but building is better! We are just getting started at the MatEx Project at the Energy and Environmental Research Center at The University of North Dakota. The demolition phase of the project is wrapping up as the subcontractor removes and hauls away the last of the foundations and demolition debris. Excavation for the new building will begin soon marking the start of the construction phase. #buildingfortomorrow
