I ❤️ English language professionals! Below are the results of the Warm Uniform initiative - a project in English Language Teaching that raised money to purchase uniforms for female defenders of Ukraine. 🇺🇦 161,000 hryvnias was raised (approximately $4,250.00). Quality ELT (English language teaching) resources and materials where shared and spread. A win-win all around! Defenders get warm uniforms. English teachers get new ideas, and English learners get quality resources and instruction. Thank you Eva Tatarova for this creative fundraising vision, and for all your work and time involved in making it happen. I also very much enjoyed seeing the other contributors and getting to know their work. For the Americans in my network: please do not forget that this war is not over, even if it's been largely dropped from US mainstream media. Please keep supporting Ukraine in whatever way you can.
