Pipeline operators know that obtaining the best ILI data possible, backed by an experienced DA team, is key to preserving their pipeline's integrity. That's table stakes. But one thing we don't talk about enough in the ILI industry is another essential process: Communication. In this webinar, we use three case studies to explore how calling on an ILI provider who communicates well with you before, during, and after your run can make all the difference. You’ll learn how True UHR is just the beginning as knowledge and insights come from the conversations with experience data analysts who help you interpret the nuances involved in the most challenging anomalies including seam weld assessment, mechanical damage, pits-in-pits and pinholes. Stick around to the end to get your questions answered with our Chief Data Scientist, Rick Desaulniers. WEBINAR: Who You Gonna Call? Crucial Conversations Between Pipeline Operators & ILI Vendors Noon CDT / 1 PM EDT, September 17, 2024 Register Today at https://bit.ly/4csMRrD

Mechanical damage can be one of the most tricky – and consequential – anomalies to assess in a pipeline. We’ve asked our Chief Data Scientist, Rick Desaulniers, to answer some key mechanical damage questions that pipeline operators ask us. Read them all over on our blog at: https://bit.ly/3WULbSV Here’s one to start with: Q: Is there a Probability of Detection for ERW welds with the UHR tools, and therefore the ability to detect deformation anomalies in proximity to an ERW weld? Answer: The short answer is — yes — ENTEGRA®’s UHR ILI System CAN detect ERW seams. We all know that operators must deal with metal loss on the seam, which is a trigger for potentially immediate investigation. Therefore, it is even more important to be able to detect ERW seams and identify anomalies in relation to the seam, especially in mechanical damage scenarios. This would raise an anomaly up the priority list even further. With ENTEGRA UHR, even if the metal loss component is adjacent to or running through the seam, that is something that can be determined as well.

Could thieves be tapping into your pipeline to steal product? Today’s sophisticated pilferage operations can siphon off valuable product through tiny pinholes – also creating risk of environmental contamination, leaks and ruptures that legacy ILI systems can miss. ENTEGRA® Ultra-High Resolution MFL/ILI systems can spot pinholes as small as 3 mm (about 0.12 in) in diameter, helping you mitigate costly and dangerous pilferage. We’re breaking down some of our favorite stories that showcase how the True UHR MFL/Cal ILI System from ENTEGRA® can make all the difference in understanding pipeline anomalies. First up is a pipeline that appears to have hundreds of anomalies at the long seam. Are these injurious metal loss? Check out the video to learn the final answer!
