We create connection and belonging for entrepreneurs everywhere so that together, we can become even more.
About us
Entrepreneurs shape the future, sparking innovation, creating jobs, empowering dreams. We believe in challenging the status quo and finding solutions, one business at a time. While that journey can bring influence, recognition, and personal reward, it can also be arduous and lonely. Mindful of the unique pressures and isolation experienced along many an entrepreneur’s path, in 1987, a group of young pioneers designed a solution: a membership community dedicated exclusively by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs who have a proven record of success. Soon, that collective grew from a few hundred to many thousands, evolving into the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). Today, EO welcomes entrepreneurs everywhere, connecting 18,000 of the world’s leading entrepreneurs from every sector, generation, culture, and walk of life across 80+ countries worldwide. We create belonging, forge connections, exchange diverse perspectives, and share extraordinary experiences, all year long. What makes our community special? In a word: connection. With EO, we go beyond the business to the whole entrepreneur, gaining insights that we pass on to our families and work teams. We recognize the interconnectedness of our success and learn to balance individual achievements with collective impacts. By gathering locally and connecting globally – in chapters, in regions, as one borderless community – we experience a 360-degree entrepreneurial journey that unlocks more of our full potential. As members of EO’s local and global communities, we belong, so we can become even more. Join EO and engage in a diverse collective that is always learning, always growing, and thinking big while being bold. Together, we will move the world forward.

The journey of entrepreneurship is long. Find your optimal pace and win. Aaron Houghton knows first-hand about entrepreneurial burnout: the EO Colorado member and serial entrepreneur overcame a severe case of burnout, conducted 10 years of research around how high performers in various fields build mental resilience, then founded Dory, the world’s largest community (10,000+ members) dedicated to stress reduction for entrepreneurs. We asked Aaron, now a peak performance coach, why finding your optimal pace is critical in preventing burnout: "So many entrepreneurs are trying to sprint marathons, and that is a proven losing strategy. Optimal pace refers to an effective combination of exertion and rest that allows a person to arrive at a specific goal," he says. "It’s a critical concept for entrepreneurs because for every day you operate below your optimal pace, your likelihood of winning falls. Also, more surprisingly, for every day you operate above your optimal pace, your likelihood of winning also falls." Aaron shared a tool that you can use to know if you are operating below or above your optimal pace. Learn about it on Inc. Skilled executive assistants can significantly increase your capacity by handling repeatable and administrative tasks so you can invest your time where it matters. David Nilssen, an EO Seattle member and Global Board Director, is the CEO of DOXA Talent, which helps businesses build and scale high-performing, borderless teams leveraging talent from across the world. David addresses the concerns founders often share over the cost of hiring an executive assistant: "Unless you can solve your capacity problem by reducing your workload or working longer hours, don’t let money keep you from hiring an executive assistant," David explains. The reason is simple: The daily tasks of running a business can keep you from investing your time in activities that genuinely add value to the business. 🏃♂️ If you have ever run a marathon, you know that you cannot sprint right out of the gate. You have to pace yourself, nourish your body, and rest when you need to. That is how you make it to the end. 🏁 The same goes for being an entrepreneur. 😩 If you burn out too quickly, you may not be able to achieve your goals. Aaron Houghton of EO Colorado provides some excellent tips on how to avoid burnout as an entrepreneur. 💪 #EO #EOColorado #ThirstforLearning #TogetherWeGrow #Burnout #Entrepreneur

Many executives struggle with burnout, which is one cause of business failure. Fortunately, process documentation helps combat burnout by freeing up executive time and attention. Adi Klevit, an EO member in Portland, Oregon, and a business systems expert, shares her experience around how effective process documentation drives business growth: "After over 20 years as a business consultant, I have seen many examples where growing companies were in danger of stalling and even shrinking because they had not documented essential processes," she shared. "One founder told me he felt 'held hostage' by his employees because if anyone was out sick or left the company, there was no way to rapidly get someone else up to speed to complete their work. This threatened the company's growth trajectory." Read Adi's article on Inc. Magazine, to see the 10 areas in your business that process documentation can improve. https://lnkd.in/g5FkPdPF #EO #ThirstForLearning #ProcessDocumentation #BusinessGrowth

Entrepreneurs Organization YXE hosted a Watch Party for the Entrepreneurs' Organization Powerhouse discussion between my friend from EO San Diego Heather Sandison, ND and Andrew Huberman. It was such a great conversation about dealing with stress, sleep, breathing exercises and more that inspired a ton of discussion and curiousity long after the talk was over. The Powerhouse series is such an incredible offering that brings worldclass experts to entrepreneurs in an intimate setting!

Environments are a subset of culture; they either explicitly or implicitly reward certain behaviors. This is why it’s so important to pick our environments carefully and ensure they are aligned to the behaviors we want to prioritize in life. Robert Glazer is an entrepreneur, bestselling author, and keynote speaker with a passion for helping individuals and organizations build capacity and elevate their performance. In a recent EO Blog, Bob shared his thoughts on the significant impact that our environments have on habits and productivity: "The elements of our environment, including the attitudes, habits, and actions of the people around us, have an outsized influence on our own behavior," he explained. Hey entrepreneurs: As you face the daily challenge of running your company and trying to balance work, family, and life, can you imagine adding endurance training for a full Ironman to your schedule? Dhiren P. Harchandani, an EO UAE member was determined to do so. The experience taught him a lot about the importance of family and balance. "In 2022, I completed my first full Ironman with a singular focus on performance. The sacrifices I made for the race were immense. I missed family and social events, business opportunities, and moments of joy that could never return," he shares. To prove that he could find balance while training for one of the world's most difficult one-day sporting events, he signed up for another Ironman. "Balance became my new benchmark for success," he shares. Learn how Dhiren achieved his goals on our blog: https://lnkd.in/gN4ZgDtR #EO #ThinkBigBeBold #Entrepreneurship #Mindset
