One of Eon's core values is that we “Keep it 100” and say the things that need to be said. That value applies equally to internal and external conversations. So, I want to share a story I’ve never talked about publicly because changing healthcare for the better requires admitting when and how the system has failed us and the junkyard dog level of grit not to accept these failures as inevitable. So, here's a story of the first day healthcare broke my heart. The first, but sadly not the last. I am forever grateful to Manasi Kapoor, Sruti Nataraja, Sarah Roller, Erin Lane, and Laura Datz for being there for me that day as humans first and teammates second.
