🚨 Fresh off the press: Writer’s 2025 AI Survey reveals the obstacles facing AI adoption — and the path to transformation 🚨 Tension, division, and power struggles — for many enterprises, AI adoption has been a difficult process with lots of friction and little success. At the same time, there’s widespread optimism about generative AI among executives and employees. And the strategies for achieving real AI transformation are now clear. We surveyed 1,600 knowledge workers actively using AI — 800 C-suite execs and 800 employees — in partnership with the independent research group Workplace Intelligence. Here’s what we found: 🔹 Conflicts, silos, and even sabotage are barriers on the path to AI adoption 🔹 AI transformation must be a collaborative effort between IT and the business 🔹 Companies with an organization-wide strategy and the right partners can become true AI-first enterprises Download the full report, Generative AI adoption in the enterprise: https://lnkd.in/gvkMtBzA

When our most successful customers ask me to talk to other companies who are going FASTER than them on AI adoption, it's disappointing for me to admit to them — "you're state of the art right now". When our most successful enterprise executive AI champions ask me what companies I know where the CEO truly "gets it" and would sponsor broader and deeper rollouts, it's disappointing for me to admit to them — there aren't that many. Most organizations do not understand that building with generative AI requires a tremendous depth of collaboration between IT and the business. And that alignment just doesn't exist in vast majority of places. The disconnect is on full display with our survey of 1,600 knowledge workers (including 800 c-suite execs and 800 employees) that puts REAL DATA behind both the struggles and success strategies that companies must address to become an AI-native enterprise. — which Axios wrote about today. ✅ Power struggles and poor alignment: ~2 out of 3 c-suite execs say generative AI adoption has caused division at their organization, with 1 out of 3 saying AI adoption has been a “massive disappointment”. ✅ Friction between IT and business leaders: 68% of c-suite execs say adopting generative AI has created tension between IT teams and other lines of business. 71% say that AI applications are being created in a silo. Midlevel engineers can be happy to iterate for months on the latest and great tooling — what's missing is generative AI product management. We built the answer for that. Writer is the only platform designed for the contiguous, collaborative way that IT needs to work with the business to ship generative AI — because though IT owns building with AI, the business builder knows what good looks like, what the business logic needs to be, what the guardrails need to be, what data to use, how to iterate with end users, how to maintain and get adoption on the apps. This is the path to value. Check out Megan Morrone's great piece in comments.

📺 On Friday, Writer CEO May Habib capped a busy week fresh from HumanX by joining Maria Bartiromo of Fox Business Network to discuss Writer’s innovation in LLMs, and how coupling breakthrough technology with a human-centric approach is critical to drive full-scale transformation. 🎤 ”The underpinning of our technology is state-of-the-art models. We’re one of a handful of companies in the U.S. that can build and train powerful models from scratch. So we DeepSeek-ed before DeepSeek, and they really validated our approach: Precision training based on synthetic data.” Watch the full interview at: https://lnkd.in/guSGgM46

”You're bringing a knife to a gunfight if IT collects a user story and then delivers a product to a business team. For agentic AI, you have to build very collaboratively with the business.” Writer CEO May Habib took the main stage at HumanX for some real talk on the challenges that businesses must come to grips with in their AI initiatives. May joined a distinguished panel including Babak Hodjat, CTO of AI at Cognizant, Bhavin Shah, CEO of Moveworks, and moderator Eric Schurenberg, founder of Alliance for Trust in Media, where they explored why so many AI projects fail, the need for transformative change to deliver ROI, and human factors such as workforce reskilling and change management. #HumanX2025
