✨ We are excited to announce our Volunteer of the Month from February 2025, Jen! ✨ You may have seen our post from last month highlighting Jen's support of one of our clients. If you didn't get a chance to read that story here it is again: "Sometimes, being a volunteer is about more than just giving a ride—it's about looking out for the people we serve. Our incredible volunteer, Jen, did just that when she noticed something wasn't quite right with Robert, a client she regularly drives to medical appointments. Trusting her instincts, she not only took him to their scheduled lab visit but also rushed them to their primary doctor when their behavior seemed off. It turns out Robert had a severe UTI affecting their brain function, and had Jen not stepped in, the consequences could have been much more serious." Jen has been a dedicated volunteer with Eras for an amazing 13 years. In addition to driving clients to their appointments, she also assists with grocery shopping—both with and for clients—and provides friendly visits to brighten their days. Her kindness, quick thinking, and deep care for those she serves make a lasting impact in our community. We are so grateful for Jen's dedication and the difference she makes in the lives of others. Please join us in giving a big round of applause for our Volunteer of the Month—thank you, Jen! Congratulations on being our March Volunteer of the Month. ___________________________________ Learn more about volunteering with Eras here: https://lnkd.in/ehdUZkg
