Last week, the sustainability community came together during #ClimateWeek to discuss where the fashion industry stands and what challenges are hindering our ability towards true change in the fight against #climatechange. One of the biggest takeaways is that overconsumption not only continues to affect progress in our supply systems, but has encouraged a culture and mindset that we also need to overcome, making education and awareness building more important than ever. The FAB Team attended so many insightful gatherings and discussions. Big thank you to partners like Faherty Brand, Tapestry, Textile Exchange, Closed Loop Partners, The Explorers Club, Dana Davis (she/her), UPROSE, and The Marketplace of the Future for bringing people together for much needed discussions. Did you attend events during Climate Week? What takeaways have you learned? Post in the comments below!
