Family & Children's Center is celebrating the #support of Dahl Automotive through this years Lube-A-Thon! Throughout September, Dahl generously made a $5 contribution for each oil change completed at eight of their locations in Onalaska and La Crosse, WI, as well as Winona, MN. Guests were invited to match the contribution as well. On Wednesday, representatives of Dahl Automotive and Family & Children's Center gathered as Andrew Dahl presented a #contribution of $31,865 to FCC President/CEO, Teresita Yutuc. These funds will support FCC's child abuse prevention programs, including Stepping Stones in La Crosse and Matty’s Place in Winona, as well as Healthy Families programs in La Crosse and Viroqua, WI, and Winona, MN. We are incredibly #grateful for Dahl Automotive's continued support of our programs, with more than $300,000 contributed to FCC over the past 16 years. What an #incredible evening! Our third annual Bridges to Better Tomorrows event was an #inspiring evening of music and mission. We are so grateful for all of the attendees who came by and learned about FCC for the first time or learned about the ways we are helping our clients in La Crosse, Winona, Viroqua, Black River Falls and surrounding communities. An amazing number of community members are contributing to our efforts to bridge funding gaps, but we are still working towards our goal. It’s so nice to get more than one night's use out of those Halloween costumes – right, parents?! The Winona Kids and Parents Expo from Leighton Broadcasting is a morning full of indoor Halloween fun. Family-friendly activities include a spooky experiment station, balloon twisting, bounce houses, crazy hair, a Halloween “make and take” craft, and of course - trick or treating. Enjoy awesome exhibitors, soft drinks from Gillette Pepsi, and more! Tickets are just $5.00 for adults and children ages 12 and under are FREE! Please remember, this is a family-friendly event with lots of little ones, so keep the costumes audience-appropriate and not too scary. 👻

Help Family & Children's Center bring a mental health mural to our community! FCC is partnering with the LA CROSSE AREA SUICIDE PREVENTION INITIATIVE INC to bring the work to the side of FCC’s new facility at 811 Monitor Street in La Crosse. Supplies will be provided on site, and artist Kristy McCarthy will provide instruction. Guests are encouraged to wear paint-ready clothing. 🎨🖌️ Open to all community members. We hope you can join us!
