Piano lessons in Long Lake and Lakeville, MN! Farmhouse Music Studio provides 60 minute weekly piano classes to get kids learning piano quickly. It's all well and good to learn note names on the grand staff and the keyboard, but there's something else very important for students to learn: technique! 🎼🎹 Merriam-Webster's definition of technique is "the manner in which technical details are treated (as by a writer) or basic physical movements are used (as by a dancer); ability to treat such details or use such movements." For piano, understanding technique includes (but is not limited to) curved fingers, floating wrists, and straight posture! Are your students using good technique? 😄
