We’re thrilled to share that this morning 50 Smile Boxes were given to Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), bringing comfort and hope to children undergoing cancer treatment. We know these boxes will make a difference for so many young patients, giving them a reason to smile during a challenging time. At FarmHouse Rescue, we believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from nonprofits standing together to make a real impact. Last night, we were honored to attend Onco Ballet’s one-year anniversary celebration – a truly moving evening dedicated to resilience, grace, and the transformative power of dance. Watching the dancers, some of whom are in the midst of their own chemo journeys, perform The Flock left us inspired and reminded us of why we do what we do. Their strength and dedication to this unique and impactful form of expression speaks volumes about the beauty that emerges from shared struggles and triumphs. In our nonprofit community, we’re here to uplift one another and support each other's missions. Progress happens when we collaborate and share our resources, love, and passion rather than viewing each other as competition. The Giving Machine is a special vending machine that empowers people to make a difference by purchasing essential items for those in their community. Yesterday, we had the honor of delivering 50 more Smile Boxes to CHOC Children's, made possible by the generous support of Edwards Lifesciences . Here’s Danielle Judd with Emily Thompson, a certified child life specialist and our inspiring speaker from the recent Farmhouse Rescue Gala. Emily will be handing out these Smile Boxes to children as they begin treatment in oncology, offering a little distraction and, hopefully, bringing a smile to their faces. Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting the impressive Edwards Lifesciences campus, where their team came together to sponsor and pack an incredible 200 Smile Boxes! 🎁 This generous contribution provides a four-month supply of Smile Boxes for a hospital, bringing joy and comfort to so many young patients. We were truly moved by the kindness, enthusiasm, and dedication of the Edwards Lifesciences staff. ✨ A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended the FarmHouse Rescue 2024 Gala! ✨ We are incredibly grateful to our title sponsors, 1031 Crowdfunding, LLC , for making this unforgettable night possible. The evening kicked off with drinks and live music by Yachty by Nature, followed by a delicious dinner and an amazing performance by talented trick roper Spencer Rose. A huge thank you to the incredible team from Cisco who joined us at the farm for a fantastic Corporate Outreach Day! 🎉 We were amazed by the amount of work they accomplished—from cleaning out the goat barn, painting the pig house, to spray painting some special farm animals (you'll have to attend our gala to find out more! 😉).
