The White House and The Office of the National Cyber Director knows that many of the foundational technologies used to build today's internet (like routing traffic) are not sufficient to fight off today's security threats. We're glad to see the government priotirizing the health and safety of our internet because our mission is to build a ⏩ faster, 🔒 safer, and more performant internet. When it comes to routing, we've been fans of Resource Public Key Infrastructure Route Origin Validation (RPKI ROV) and how it prevents malicious actors from manipulating the internet into routing information to unintended destinations. In fact, experts Doug Madory of Kentik and Job Snijders of Fastly, recently review the latest RPKI ROV deployment metrics in light of a major milestone in deployment, read it here to learn more about what we believe to be the future of the internet: https://fastly.us/3z7AovG

My role on Ekstra Bladet is basically to ensure happy users,” said Allan Juul, Director of Development at Danish news site Ekstra Bladet. What makes users unhappy? Going online for news during major events and finding a site offline. 🫠 After Ekstra Bladet experienced significant downtime during multiple traffic spikes, the team turned to Fastly for a scalable and globally accessible solution to handle surges in traffic without disruptions. And here's what happened: https://lnkd.in/gyywHGST

What an incredible day at #XcelerateSYD! ICYMI, we… 👉 Had amazing speakers from companies such as Monoova, Blackpepper, Nine, Stuff, and Canstar take the stage with insightful technical insights and case studies. 👉 Collaborated and learned from peers solving similar challenges! 👉 Learned how to protect networks from DDoS attacks, how to get the most out of a serverless computing environment, and how to build a high-performance global edge app. And we’ve got even more planned for the final stop on the Xcelerate road trip: The Big Apple 🍎 – NYC in October!
