FIBERIGHT LIMITED’s resource recovery facility is now fully open for business! The patented Hydracycle process uses water to fractionate mixed contaminated household and C&I material into homogenous plastic and paper grades suitable for further processing. So, material that would have been lost to incineration or landfill can be recovered, with the resulting recycling rates provided back to the relevant Local Authority for reporting purposes. The recycling rates achieved through the demonstration plant for the full year 2022 were circa 86%. Initial feedstock accepted includes all EWC 191204 plastics (flexibles and rigids) as per the following example photos below; Please DM James Marshall with details of any feedstock you have available for initial trials, then ongoing supply from March. #business #water #recycling #flexiblepackaging #flexibleplastic #plastics #Rigids #resourcerecovery #waste #paper #incineration #landfill #initialtrials #supply

Every day, we are seeing more and more articles like this: https://lnkd.in/eP378PXt The world is shifting from plastic to paper packaging, much of which is food-contact packaging that cannot be processed in traditional recycling routes ♻️ FIBERIGHT LIMITED’s HYDRACYCLE technology is the solution; recovering paper/card from contaminated sources for use in new applications including pulp moulding or bio-based sugars. As industries strive for eco-friendly alternatives, Fiberight remains a beacon of versatility, addressing the challenges of diverse waste streams and moving towards our goal of achieving the 'The End of Waste' 🌎 #TheEndofWaste #circulareconomy #Biobasedsugar #packaging #foodpackaging #plastic #plasticpackaging #waste #environment #pulp #innovation

I was delighted to welcome the Leader for City and Council of Swansea Rob Stewart, Deputy Leader David Hopkins, Cabinet Minister Cyril Anderson and Chris Howell from Swansea Council to FIBERIGHT LIMITED today. Alongside Royston Whitney and Barry Phillips we presented our vision, highlighted our capabilities and discussed how we could partner to help achieve and exceed Swansea Council's Recovery and Recycling targets going forward. With legislative change due this year in Wales regarding how Recycling is handled & processed, we look forward to any potential partnership with City & County of Swansea that can proactively spearhead an innovative approach that tackles potentially problematic material and transforming them into a valuable resource. Lots of work to be done, but exciting times ahead for 2024 and beyond. Thanks again for your visit. #localbusiness #Recycling #recovery #swanseacouncil #fiberight #plastics #waste #Swansea #resourcerecovery

letsrecycle.com’s Joshua Akass Doherty reports on The National Infrastructure Commission's (NIC) concern regarding the goal to achieve a 65% recycling rate by 2035. One of the core recommendation of the report is that the UK must "deliver a more sustainable waste system by urgently implementing reforms to meet the 65% recycling target by 2035, and create 'stronger incentives' for investment in the recycling infrastructure." Government support and regulatory reforms would help FIBERIGHT LIMITED grow and deliver against the NIC goals. https://lnkd.in/ezKA3E2s #Recycling #UK #Waste #Innovation #UKGov #NIC #LetsRecycle #circulareconomy #NetZero

Growing the UK bio-based industry | Passionate about all things biotech | bioeconomy | bioprocessing | engineering biology | circular economy
A really insightful and thought provoking day with some of the best minds in the UK bio-based industry. As part of our Department for Energy Security and Net Zero study into the role of biomass for biochemicals we met in York to discuss our preliminary findings on the benefits of transitioning to biobased chemicals, in terms of the economy and greenhouse gas savings. Key take homes include: 🌲🌿In most cases biobased chemicals produce less GHGs than their fossil based counterparts - although much work is needed to ensure robust LCA methodologies are further developed 💷💷 Biochemicals have the potential to significantly and positively impact the UK economy 🏭 The chemicals industry wants to make the transition, but the right policies need putting in place to enable this Huge thanks to everyone who took the time out to join us today: Sarah Davidson from Croda Simon Crabtree from SEQENS Sarah K Hickingbottom from Circa Group Duncan Mclachlan from Celtic Renewables Limited Paul Mines from Biome Bioplastics Limited Richard L. from Holiferm Simone Cinquepalmi from FIBERIGHT LIMITED Stewart Easdon from Ensus UK Ltd Tony Heslop from BASF Veronica Ongaro Adrian Higson Jonathan Hobson FREY NNFCC The Bioeconomy Consultants Perspective Economics Giacomo Schiaffini

In 2021 the UK handled 12 Million tonnes of packaging waste, with almost 40% not recovered and sent for Incineration or RDF. Plastic being one of our biggest issues, only recovering 44%. Although Recycling has improved since then, that still leaves a huge amount unrecovered. FIBERIGHT LIMITED patented process would look to target that 4 Million tonnes of unrecovered waste and recycle, reuse and repurpose an additional 85%! With recycling targets increasing year on year, get in touch to help us help you. Send me a message or email Jared.Davies@fiberight.co.uk to arrange a site visit and see what we can do for you now and hear how we plan to create End of Waste products from your material.
