Yesterday, July 7th, CARES marked its 7th birthday. Over the past seven years, we have been dedicated to spreading kindness and making a positive impact within our communities and among our employees. We’ve provided over $2.5 million in funding to more than 500 nonprofit organizations that collectively serve more than 2 million people. Our employees have provided more than 12,000 volunteers hours in their own communities through our company’s generous volunteer leave benefit, and we have supported our colleagues during times of financial hardship through the Employee Assistance Fund. We are delighted to announce that the 2024 - 2025 grant season for Cares is now open! Every year, CARES awards grants to nonprofit organizations across the country, focusing on key areas of support. We’ve recently realigned our focus to better align with the new direction of Finance of America. Moving forward, we will concentrate our grant efforts on senior services while continuing to support veteran organizations. From July 1 to August 31, nonprofits serving in these areas can apply for a Cares Community Impact Grant. Please send us a message directly if you would like a link to the application!
