Our teams collaborated on a new API that will make it easier for HR and fintech applications to offer secure, pre-built integrations for customers they share with Justworks. This collaboration is a major step towards realizing the Open Employment Ecosystem, where data from HRIS and payroll systems can move freely and securely to the applications employers rely on. Today's employers use an average of 16+ HR systems, most of which rely on data from their payroll system. HR teams spend hours every week keeping these apps up to date, often manually transferring data between them. Integrations between payroll and employment apps can solve this challenge; but they’re expensive for payroll companies to build and maintain.
